A simple application which can help you in Pro-blogging!
I have already told you about Pro-blogging on my blog – Extreme Trix. Professional blogging is that situation when a person takes blogging as full-time job. Some bloggers get so much indulged in blogging that they don’t get time to spend time with their friends, girlfriends/boyfriends and family and sometimes even don’t get time to eat proper food because which they get ill very often (even I too got ill – when I started pro-blogging in my holidays
– read this. ). A blogger should blog at a fixed time stay fit and good.
Some bloggers think that continuous blogging will help them to make a good amount of money, but they are totally wrong! Quality is the king not the quantity. If you want to make a good amount of money from blogging, then your quality of the posts matters a lot. For writing a killer post you need good productive and creative ideas. I am damn sure that you will not get any cool idea siting in front of computer or a Mac, but activities like outdoor games, outing with friends, blah, blah really works! Moreover, some bloggers get addicted to bad habits like Smoking, Drinking, watching p*rn, etc. Because of pro-blogging. So if you want to be fit and good, then you should work (blog) from a fixed time like others do in an office, so you can take out some time for social activities. Harsh bro of Shout Me Loud had posted a post on pro-blogging in which he explained few tips to help pro-bloggers in maintaining a balance between their online and real life – check this. It may help you.
Today while stumbling across I came through an Adobe Air based application named Pomodairo, which is an application for working with the Pomodoro technique. It is quite good for new bloggers and can help them a lot in time management which may help them to get some time for social activities and not getting addicted to bad things. Features of Pomodairo are -
- Setting close date for done tasks
- Ability to copy name of the pomodoro to clipboard
- Pomodoro and timer now shows in taskbar. Can be turned off in configuration.
- Pomodoros are only counted when timer completes.
- Configuration option to keep window on top.
- Deleted pomodoros that are running will be stopped and cleared.
- Made visual notification for time out more distinct.
- A refresh button to DatabaseViewer
